ESSENCE OF CHRISTMAS

          As the month of December came, we felt the cold breeze in the night, lanterns and shimmering lights everywhere. Yes! You know what these mean? Of course it is. It's the Essence of Christmas.
         The time of giving, forgiving, and loving each other. The time where we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The time that only thing in our mind is Jesus. Yes, Jesus. Well, let me ask you. What is truly meant by the Essence of Christmas? is it on material things or it is by giving and loving with all our hearts?
         Well Christmas is not about materialism. There's a saying, "God arrives like a thief on the night of Christmas." What do this mean? Well, our life today in the modern world is very different. We are more focus on material things rather than to live life with the presence of God. God symbolizes as the love, truth, way, and also life. That's why Christmas is very important. It's the only moment that we focus ourselves to the moment that we focus ourselves to the most important thing in our lives, our God.

EQUAL RIGHTS, EQUAL OPPURTUNITIES

           All of us want to be treated fair right? All of us wants to be what we wanted right? Well, it's possible if we want to but is it today? Tomorrow? Think again.

          Well, we have ourselves our own goals, dreams and also rights. These things are our weapons, our shields against hindrances of life. In this world, all wants to be treated equally but... is there equally treatment in ours? Some people were at their highest peak because of money, position etc. They can do whatever they want because they have the power to control all. Some people don't use their brains yet they use their personalities, money etc. just to have what they want. Do you consider that as EQUAL? There's a saying, "What is beauty when the brain is empty?" This quote is related to what has been discuss right now. It tells us about discrimination. it tells and want to plant this in our minds the message that we must be treated equally. The poor are the one who is truly affected with this. It's because of poverty, they don't have strength to fight for their rights. Even though how hard they fight for it, they always lost. Why? Discrimination is the answer. But because of money, almost everything in this world you can have it. But... can money buy happiness?

          Well, poor are not just the one who are affected. They're just the one who are increasingly affected. There are some cases too like in schools, offices, jobs etc. Discrimination is always in between. There is always a bias treatment on it.
           To summarize up. We all just want to be treated fairly and equally. We just want to stand and fight for our rights and dignity. We don't want to be left behind in the darkness. We only just want to have equal rights, equal opportunities.

CLIMATE CHANGE

          Global Warming or Climate Change is the measurable increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere, oceans, and land masses. What causes Global Warming by the way?

              Sunlight brings brings energy to the Earth. This light turns to heat when it hits the ground. The heat in turn seeps away from the Earth, but the atmosphere which is a layer of air around the planet that holds in some of the warmth slows the heat's escape. The atmosphere is a mixture of many gases. Well, base on my research, in the last 250 years, this mixture has been changing. Thus, the amounts of gases such as methane and carbon dioxide have been rising. It trap heat more effectively than any other gases. They make the Earth's atmosphere act like the glass in a greenhouse. It lets sunlight in, yet it doesn't let heat out. What's the effect? As a result, heat is building up close to the surface. 

            In other words, people are changing the atmosphere. We are the one who causes the big change. The changes started when people began cutting down forests and burning the wood without replacing. The inventions of automobiles and other machines too which greatly increased the amount of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere, thus, It'll make the atmosphere more complicated.

              Global Warming is indeed very dangerous. It can even melt the ice at the poles. Well, we must make a move to stopped the global warming. If we cut down trees, we must replace it urgently. Vast new forests must be planted. Just think about what will be the next generation look like. Just think about our future.
